SEC. 826. COMPLIANCE WITH BERRY AMENDMENT REQUIRED FOR UNIFORM COMPONENTS SUPPLIED TO AFGHAN MILITARY OR AFGHAN NATIONAL POLICE. (a) Requirement.—In the case of any textile components supplied by the Department of Defense to the Afghan National Army or the Afghan National Police for purposes of production of uniforms, section 2533a of title 10, United States Code, shall apply, and no exceptions or exemptions under that section shall apply. (b) Effective Date.—This section shall apply to solicitations issued and contracts awarded for the procurement of such components after the date of the enactment of this Act.
