232.The Secretary shall take actions necessary to improve data quality, data management, and grantee oversight and accountability with respect to programs and activities administered by the Office of Community Planning and Development. The Secretary shall address the problems identified by the Inspector General of the Department in audits and audit reports since 2006, including ongoing audits, with respect to such programs and activities. Not later than 120 days after enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit a report to the Congress on progress achieved by the Department with respect to addressing such problems and identifying further improvements that can be made (including improvements relating to information technology) and proposed actions and timelines to carry out such improvements.
