SEC. 1218. TWO-YEAR EXTENSION OF CERTAIN REPORTS ON AFGHANISTAN. (a) Report on Progress Toward Security and Stability in Afghanistan.—Section 1230(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (Public Law 110-181; 122 Stat. 385), as most recently amended by section 1231 of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (Public Law 111-383; 124 Stat. 4395), is further amended by striking “2012” and inserting “2014”. (b) Report on United States Plan for Sustaining Afghanistan National Security Forces.—Section 1231(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (122 Stat. 390), as amended by section 1232 of the Ike Skelton National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011 (124 Stat. 4395), is further amended by striking “2012” and inserting “2014”.
