SEC. 721. DESIGNATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF SENIOR MEDICAL ADVISOR FOR ARMED FORCES RETIREMENT HOME. (a) Designation of Senior Medical Advisor.—Subsection (a) of section 1513A of the Armed Forces Retirement Home Act of 1991 (24 U.S.C. 413a) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1), by striking “Deputy Director of the TRICARE Management Activity” and inserting “Deputy Director of the Defense Health Agency”; and (2) in paragraph (2), by striking “Deputy Director of the TRICARE Management Activity” both places it appears and inserting “Deputy Director of the Defense Health Agency”. (b) Clarification of Responsibilities and Duties of Senior Medical Advisor.—Subsection (c)(2) of such section is amended by striking “health care standards of the Department of Veterans Affairs” and inserting “nationally recognized health care standards and requirements”.
