SEC. 2861. REDESIGNATION OF THE ASIA-PACIFIC CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES AS THE DANIEL K. INOUYE ASIA-PACIFIC CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES. (a) [10 U.S.C. 184 note] Redesignation.—The Department of Defense regional center for security studies known as the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies is hereby renamed the “Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies”. (b) Conforming Amendments.— (1) Reference to regional centers for strategic studies.—Section 184(b)(2)(B) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking “Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies” and inserting “Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies”. (2) Acceptance of gifts and donations.—Section 2611(a)(2)(B) of such title is amended by striking “Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies” and inserting “Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies”. (c) [10 U.S.C. 184 note] References.—Any reference to the Department of Defense Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in any law, regulation, map, document, record, or other paper of the United States shall be deemed to be a reference to the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies.
