WATER RIGHTS.

SEC. 2965. WATER RIGHTS. (a) No Reservation of Water Rights.—Nothing in this subtitle— (1) establishes a reservation in favor of the United States with respect to any water or water right on the land transferred by this subtitle; or (2) to authorize the appropriation of water on the land transferred by this subtitle except in accordance with applicable State law. (b) Effect on Previously Acquired or Reserved Water Rights.— (1) In general.—Nothing in this subtitle affects any water rights acquired or reserved by the United States before the date of enactment of this Act on the land transferred by this subtitle. (2) Authority of secretary.—The Secretary of the Navy may exercise any water rights described in paragraph (1).
