SEC. 210. PEDIATRIC QUALITY MEASURES. (a) Continuation of Funding for Pediatric Quality Measures for Improving the Quality of Children’s Health Care.—Section 1139B(e) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1320b-9b(e)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “Of the funds appropriated under this subsection, not less than $15,000,000 shall be used to carry out section 1139A(b).”. (b) Elimination of Restriction on Medicaid Quality Measurement Program.—Section 1139B(b)(5)(A) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1320b-9b(b)(5)(A)) is amended by striking “The aggregate amount awarded by the Secretary for grants and contracts for the development, testing, and validation of emerging and innovative evidence-based measures under such program shall equal the aggregate amount awarded by the Secretary for grants under section 1139A(b)(4)(A)”.
