SEC. 3. [16 U.S.C. 973a] APPLICATION TO OTHER LAWS. The seizure by a Pacific Island Party of a vessel of the United States shall not be determined to be a seizure described in section 205(a)(4)(C) of the Magnuson Fishery Conservation and Management Act (16 U.S.C. 1825(a)(4)(C)) or section 2 of the Fishermen's Protective Act of 1967 (22 U.S.C. 1972) if the seizure is found by the Secretary of State to be in accordance with the provisions of the Treaty.
