SEC. 902. DEFINITIONS. In this title: (1) The term “controlled substance” has the meaning given that term in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802). (2) The term “State” means each of the several States, territories, and possessions of the United States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. (3) The term “complementary and integrative health” has the meaning given that term, or any successor term, by the National Institutes of Health. (4) The term “opioid receptor antagonist” means a drug or device approved or cleared under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 301 et seq.) for emergency treatment of known or suspected opioid overdose.
