SEC. 9001. GRANTS FOR TREATMENT AND RECOVERY FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS. Section 506 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 290aa-5) is amended— (1) in subsection (a), by striking “substance abuse” and inserting “substance use disorder”; (2) in subsection (b)— (A) in paragraphs (1) and (3), by striking “substance abuse” each place the term appears and inserting “substance use disorder”; and (B) in paragraph (4), by striking “substance abuse” and inserting “a substance use disorder”; (3) in subsection (c)— (A) in paragraph (1), by striking “substance abuse disorder” and inserting “substance use disorder”; and (B) in paragraph (2)— (i) in subparagraph (A), by striking “substance abuse” and inserting “a substance use disorder”; and (ii) in subparagraph (B), by striking “substance abuse” and inserting “substance use disorder”; and (4) in subsection (e), by striking “, $50,000,000 for fiscal year 2001, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2002 and 2003” and inserting “$41,304,000 for each of fiscal years 2018 through 2022”.
