SEC. 14010. SCHOOL MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS INTERVENTION TEAMS. Section 2701(b) of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 3797a(b)) is amended— (1) by redesignating paragraphs (4) and (5) as paragraphs (5) and (6), respectively; and (2) by inserting after paragraph (3) the following: “(4) The development and operation of crisis intervention teams that may include coordination with law enforcement agencies and specialized training for school officials in responding to mental health crises.” .
