SEC. 1119. INDIAN TRIBES. Section 1156 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2310) is amended— (1) in the section heading by inserting “and indian tribes” after “territories”; and (2) in subsection (a)— (A) by striking “projects in American” and inserting“projects— “(1) in American” ; (B) by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and (C) by adding at the end the following: “(2) for any Indian tribe (as defined in section 102 of the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994 (25 U.S.C. 5130)).” .
