SEC. 646. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY TO PAY SPECIAL SURVIVOR INDEMNITY ALLOWANCE UNDER THE SURVIVOR BENEFIT PLAN. Section 1450(m) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in paragraph (2)(I), by striking “fiscal year 2017” and inserting “each of fiscal years 2017 and 2018”; and (2) in paragraph (6)— (A) by striking “September 30, 2017” and inserting “May 31, 2018”; and (B) by striking “October 1, 2017” both places it appears and inserting “June 1, 2018”.
