SEC. 508. EXTENSION OF FORCE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITIES ALLOWING ENHANCED FLEXIBILITY FOR OFFICER PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT. (a) Temporary Early Retirement Authority.—Section 4403(i) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1993 (10 U.S.C. 1293 note) is amended by striking “December 31, 2018” and inserting “December 31, 2025”. (b) Continuation on Active Duty.—Section 638a(a)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking “December 31, 2018” and inserting “December 31, 2025”. (c) Voluntary Separation Pay.—Section 1175a(k)(1) of such title is amended by striking “December 31, 2018” and inserting “December 31, 2025”. (d) Service-in-Grade Waivers.—Section 1370(a)(2)(F) of such title is amended by striking “2018” and inserting “2025”.
