SEC. 1282. TWO-YEAR EXTENSION AND MODIFICATION OF AUTHORIZATION OF NON-CONVENTIONAL ASSISTED RECOVERY CAPABILITIES. (a) Extension of Authority.—Subsection (h) of section 943 of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (Public Law 110-417; 122 Stat. 4579), as most recently amended by section 1271 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 129 Stat. 1075), is further amended by striking “2018” and inserting “2021”. (b) Modification to Authorized Activities.—Subsection (c) of such section is amended by inserting “, or other individuals, as determined by the Secretary of Defense, with respect to already established non-conventional assisted recovery capabilities” before the period at the end of the first sentence.
