SEC. 3014. HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES. (a) Costs.—Except as provided in subsection (b), the costs of remedial actions relating to hazardous substances on land acquired under this subtitle shall be paid by those entities responsible for the costs under applicable law. (b) Remediation of Prior Testing and Training Activity.—The Secretary of the Air Force shall bear all costs of remediation required as a result of the previous testing of military weapons systems and the training of military forces on non-Federal land to be conveyed to the United States under this subtitle.
