HIGHWAY USE TAX EVASION PROJECTS.

SEC. 1110. HIGHWAY USE TAX EVASION PROJECTS. Section 143(b) of title 23, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking paragraph (2)(A) and inserting the following: “(A) In general.—From administrative funds made available under section 104(a), the Secretary may deduct such sums as are necessary, not to exceed $4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2016 through 2020, to carry out this section.” ; (2) in the heading for paragraph (8) by inserting “block grant” after “surface transportation”; and (3) in paragraph (9) by inserting “, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives, and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate” after “the Secretary”.
