SEC. 1407. VEHICLE-TO-INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT. (a) National Highway Performance Program.—Section 119(d)(2)(L) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by inserting “, including the installation of vehicle-to-infrastructure communication equipment” after “capital improvements”. (b) Surface Transportation Block Grant Program.—Section 133(b)(1)(D) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by inserting “, including the installation of vehicle-to-infrastructure communication equipment” after “capital improvements”.
