EXTENSION FOR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY EDUCATION.

SEC. 50503. EXTENSION FOR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY EDUCATION. (a) In General Section 513 of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 713) is amended— (1) in subsection (a)(1)(A), by striking “2017” and inserting “2019”; and (2) in subsection (a)(4)— (A) in subparagraph (A), by striking “2017” each place it appears and inserting “2019”; and (B) in subparagraph (B)— (i) in the subparagraph heading, by striking “3-year grants” and inserting “Competitive prep grants”; and (ii) in clause (i), by striking “solicit applications to award 3-year grants in each of fiscal years 2012 through 2017” and inserting “continue through fiscal year 2019 grants awarded for any of fiscal years 2015 through 2017”; (3) in subsection (c)(1), by inserting after “youth with HIV/AIDS,” the following: “victims of human trafficking,”; and (4) in subsection (f), by striking “2017” and inserting “2019”. (b) [42 U.S.C. 713 note] Effective Date The amendments made by this section shall take effect as if enacted on October 1, 2017.
