AMENDMENTS TO THE PEACE CORPS ACT.

SEC. 602. AMENDMENTS TO THE PEACE CORPS ACT. (a) Extension of Contracting Authority.—Section 10(c) of the Peace Corps Act (22 U.S.C. 2509(c)) is amended by striking “thirty six months” and inserting “five years”. (b) Liability Insurance for Medical Services Personnel.—Section 10(j) of the Peace Corps Act (22 U.S.C. 2509(j)) is amended by inserting before the period at the end of the first sentence “, and to individuals employed under personal services contracts to furnish medical services abroad pursuant to subsection (a)(5) of this section.”.
