SEC. 106. [18 U.S.C. 2520 note] RULE OF CONSTRUCTION. Nothing in this division, or the amendments made by this division, shall be construed to preclude any foreign authority from obtaining assistance in a criminal investigation or prosecution pursuant to section 3512 of title 18, United States Code, section1782 of title 28, United States Code, or as otherwise provided by law.
