DEFINITIONS.

SEC. 2. [12 U.S.C. 5365 note] DEFINITIONS. In this Act: (1) Appropriate federal banking agency; company; depository institution; depository institution holding company.—The terms “appropriate Federal banking agency”, “company”, “depository institution”, and “depository institution holding company” have the meanings given those terms in section 3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (12 U.S.C. 1813). (2) Bank holding company.—The term “bank holding company” has the meaning given the term in section 2 of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 (12 U.S.C. 1841).
