REPORT ON DEGAUSSING STANDARDS FOR DDG-51 DESTROYERS.

SEC. 133. REPORT ON DEGAUSSING STANDARDS FOR DDG-51 DESTROYERS. (a) Report Required.—Not later than February 1, 2019, the Secretary of the Navy shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on degaussing standards for the DDG-51 destroyer. (b) Elements.—The report required under subsection (a) shall include— (1) a detailed description of the current degaussing standards for the DDG-51 destroyer; (2) a plan for incorporating such standards into the destroyer construction program; and (3) an assessment of the requirement to backfit such standards to in-service destroyers.
