SEC. 1145. FUNDING TO PROCESS PERMITS. Section 214(a) of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (33 U.S.C. 2352(a)) is amended— (1) by striking paragraph (3) and redesignating paragraphs (4) and (5) as paragraphs (3) and (4), respectively; and (2) in paragraph (4), as so redesignated— (A) by striking “4 years after the date of enactment of this paragraph” and inserting “December 31, 2022”; and (B) by striking “carry out a study” and inserting “carry out a followup study”.
