SEC. 109. SUBTITLE II. (a) Initial Matter.—Title 14, United States Code, is further amended by inserting after chapter 11 (as amended by section 108) the following: “Subtitle II—Personnel “Chap. “Sec. “19. Coast Guard Academy “21. Personnel; Officers “23. Personnel; Enlisted “25. Personnel; General Provisions “27. Pay, Allowances, Awards, and Other Rights and Benefits “29. Coast Guard Family Support, Child Care, and Housing ” (b) Reserved Chapter Numbers.— (1) [14 U.S.C. 461] Chapter 13.—Chapter 13 of title 14, United States Code, is amended by striking the chapter designation, the chapter heading, and the table of sections at the beginning. (2) Chapter 14.—Chapter 14 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— (A) [14 U.S.C. 531] by striking the chapter designation, the chapter heading, and the table of sections at the beginning; and (B) [14 U.S.C. 531] by striking the subchapter designation and the subchapter heading for each of the subchapters of such chapter. (3) Chapter 15.—Chapter 15 of title 14, United States Code, is amended— (A) [14 U.S.C. 561] by striking the chapter designation, the chapter heading, and the table of sections at the beginning; and (B) [14 U.S.C. 561] by striking the subchapter designation and the subchapter heading for each of the subchapters of such chapter. (4) [14 U.S.C. 631] Chapter 17.—Chapter 17 of title 14, United States Code, is amendedby striking the chapter designation, the chapter heading, and the table of sections at the beginning. (5) [14 U.S.C. 680] Chapter 18.—Chapter 18 of title 14, United States Code, is amendedby striking the chapter designation, the chapter heading, and the table of sections at the beginning.
