SEC. 110518. FIREARMS AND EXPLOSIVES CONSPIRACY. (a) Firearms.—Section 924 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 110517(a), is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(n) A person who conspires to commit an offense under subsection (c) shall be imprisoned for not more than 20 years, fined under this title, or both; and if the firearm is a machinegun or destructive device, or is equipped with a firearm silencer or muffler, shall be imprisoned for any term of years or life.” . (b) Explosives.—Section 844 of title 18, United States Code, as amended by section 110515(b), is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(m) A person who conspires to commit an offense under subsection (h) shall be imprisoned for any term of years not exceeding 20, fined under this title, or both.”
