ELIGIBILITY OF RESERVE COMPONENT MEMBERS FOR POST-9/11 EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE.

SEC. 401. ELIGIBILITY OF RESERVE COMPONENT MEMBERS FOR POST-9/11 EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE. (a) In General.—Section 3301(1)(B) is amended by striking “or 12304” and inserting “12304, 12304a, or 12304b”. (b) [38 U.S.C. 3301 note] Retroactive Application.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to service in the Armed Forces occurring on or after the date of the enactment of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-252). (c) [38 U.S.C. 3301 note] Application With Respect to Use of Entitlement.—An individual who is entitled to educational assistance by reason of the amendment made by subsection (a) may use such entitlement to pursue a course of education beginning on or after August 1, 2018.
