SEC. 552. TRANSITIONS OF MILITARY DEPENDENT STUDENTS FROM DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE DEPENDENT SCHOOLS TO OTHER SCHOOLS AND AMONG SCHOOLS OF LOCAL EDUCATIONAL AGENCIES. (a) Permanent Support Authority.—Section 574(c) of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (Public Law 109-364; 20 U.S.C. 7703b note) is amended by striking paragraph (3). (b) Conforming Amendment.—Section 572(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328; 20 U.S.C. 7703b note) is amended by striking “that includes a request for the extension of section 574(c) of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 shall include” and inserting “shall include, with respect to section 574(c) of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (Public Law 109-364; 20 U.S.C. 7703b note),”.
