SEC. 1083. MODIFICATION OF REQUIREMENT RELATING TO CONVERSION OF CERTAIN MILITARY TECHNICIAN (DUAL STATUS) POSITIONS TO CIVILIAN POSITIONS. (a) Revised Reduction.—Section 1053(a)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 (Public Law 114-92; 10 U.S.C. 10216 note), as amended by section 1084(a)(1) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328; 130 Stat. 2421), is further amended by striking “20 percent” and inserting “12.6 percent”. (b) [10 U.S.C. 10216 note] Technical Correction.—Section 1084(a)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Public Law 114-328; 130 Stat. 2421), is amended by striking “paragraph (2)” and inserting “paragraph (2)(A)”.
