SEC. 1112. WATER TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT. The Water Desalination Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-298; 42 U.S.C. 10301 note) is amended— (1) in section 4(a)(1), by inserting “, including modules specifically designed for brine management” after “and concepts”; and (2) in section 8(b)— (A) by striking “3,000,000” and inserting “20,000,000”; and (B) by striking “2017 through 2021” and inserting “2022 through 2026, in addition to the authorization of appropriations for projects in section 4(a)(2)(F)”.
