HOUSING COOPERATIVES.

SEC. 316. HOUSING COOPERATIVES. Section 7(a)(36) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 636(a)(36)) is amended— (1) in subparagraph (A), as amended by section 315(a) of this Act, by adding at the end the following: “(xiv) the term ‘housing cooperative’ means a cooperative housing corporation (as defined in section 216(b) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) that employs not more than 300 employees;” ; and (2) in subparagraph (D)— (A) in clause (i), by inserting “housing cooperative,” before “veterans organization,” each place it appears; and (B) in clause (vi), by inserting “, a housing cooperative,” before “a veterans organization”.
