SEC. 844. EXPANSION ON THE PROHIBITION ON ACQUIRING CERTAIN METAL PRODUCTS. (a) In General.—Section 4872 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (a)— (A) in paragraph (1), by striking “; or” and inserting a semicolon; (B) in paragraph (2)(B), by striking the period at the end and inserting “; or”; and (C) by adding at the end the following new paragraph: “(3) enter into a contract for any covered material mined, refined, or separated in any covered nation.” ; and (2) in subsection (c)(3)(A)(i), by striking “tungsten” and inserting “covered material”. (b) [10 U.S.C. 2533c note] Effective Date.—The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect on the date that is 6 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.
