SEC. 763. PROVISION OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FROM DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS TO MEMBERS OF RESERVE COMPONENTS OF THE ARMED FORCES. (a) In General.—Subchapter VIII of chapter 17 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: “SEC. 1789. [38 U.S.C. 1789] Mental health services for members of the reserve components of the Armed Forces The Secretary, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, may furnish mental health services to members of the reserve components of the Armed Forces.” . (b) [38 U.S.C. 1701] Clerical Amendment.—The table of sections at the beginning of such subchapter is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 1788 the following new item: “1789. Mental health services for members of the reserve components of the Armed Forces.” .
