SEC. 1284. SPECIAL ADVISOR FOR ASSISTANCE TO ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN. Section 135(e)(2) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2152f(e)(2)) is amended— (1) by amending subparagraph (A) to read as follows: “(A) Coordinate assistance to orphans and other vulnerable children among the relevant Federal agencies and officials.” ; and (2) in subparagraph (B), by striking “the various offices, bureaus, and field missions within the United States Agency for International Development” and inserting “the relevant Federal branch agencies and officials”.
