TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS REGARDING REIMBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL INCOME TAXES INCURRED DURING TRAVEL, TRANSPORTATION, AND RELOCATION.

SEC. 1121. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS REGARDING REIMBURSEMENT OF FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL INCOME TAXES INCURRED DURING TRAVEL, TRANSPORTATION, AND RELOCATION. (a) In General.—Section 5724b(b) of title 5, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking “or relocation expenses reimbursed” and inserting “and relocation expenses reimbursed”; and (2) by striking “of chapter 41” and inserting “or chapter 41”. (b) [5 U.S.C. 5724b] Retroactive Effective Date.—The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enactment of section 1114 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (Public Law 116-92).
