SEC. 2836. TRANSFER OF ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION, NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY PANAMA CITY, FLORIDA, PARCEL. (a) Transfer to the Secretary of the Navy.—Administrative jurisdiction over the parcel of Federal land consisting of approximately 1.23 acres located within Naval Support Activity Panama City, Florida, and used by the Department of the Navy pursuant to Executive Order No. 10355 of May 26, 1952, and Public Land Order Number 952 of April 6, 1954, is transferred from the Secretary of the Interior to the Secretary of the Navy. (b) Land Survey.—The exact acreage and legal description of the Federal land transferred by subsection (a) shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary of the Navy and the Secretary of the Interior. (c) Consideration and Reimbursement.— (1) No consideration.—The transfer made by subsection (a) shall be without consideration. (2) Reimbursement.—The Secretary of the Navy shall reimburse the Secretary of the Interior for any costs incurred by the Secretary of the Interior under subsection (b) in conducting the survey and preparing the legal description of the Federal land transferred by subsection (a). (d) Status of Land After Transfer.—Upon transfer of the Federal land by subsection (a), the land shall cease to be public land and shall be treated as property (as defined in section 102(9) of title 40, United States Code) under the administrative jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Navy.
