REDESIGNATION OF THE COMMANDANT OF THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AS THE DIRECTOR AND CHANCELLOR OF SUCH INSTITUTE.

SEC. 556. REDESIGNATION OF THE COMMANDANT OF THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AS THE DIRECTOR AND CHANCELLOR OF SUCH INSTITUTE. (a) Redesignation.—Section 9414b(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in the subsection heading, by striking “Commandant” and inserting “Director and Chancellor”; (2) by striking “Commandant” each place it appears and inserting “Director and Chancellor”; and (3) in the heading of paragraph (3), by striking “Commandant” and inserting “Director and Chancellor”. (b) Conforming Amendments.—Section 9414(f) of such title is amended by striking “Commandant” both places it appears and inserting “Director and Chancellor”. (c) [10 U.S.C. 9414b note] References.—Any reference in any law, regulation, map, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the Commandant of the United States Air Force Institute of Technology shall be deemed to be a reference to the Director and Chancellor of the United States Air Force Institute of Technology.
