SEC. 570D. [10 U.S.C. 1781 note] COUNSELING FOR MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO ARE NOT CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES ON NATURALIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES. (a) In General.—The Secretary concerned shall furnish to covered individuals under the jurisdiction of that Secretary counseling regarding how to apply for naturalization in the United States. (b) Definitions.—In this section: (1) The term “covered individual” means a member of the Armed Forces who is not a citizen of the United States. (2) The term “Secretary concerned” has the meaning given that term in section 101(a)(9) of title 10, United States Code.
