SEC. 1602. COORDINATION OF MODERNIZATION EFFORTS RELATING TO MILITARY-CODE CAPABLE GPS RECEIVER CARDS. Section 1610 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 (Public Law 115-232; 132 Stat. 2111; 10 U.S.C. 2281 note) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)(2), by striking the period at the end and inserting “, including with respect to each program of the Department that requires M-code capable receiver cards.”; and (2) in subsection (c), by striking the period at the end and inserting “, and shall clarify the roles of the Chief Information Officer and the Council on Oversight of the Department of Defense Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Enterprise with respect to M-code modernization efforts.”.
