SEC. 1033. TRANSPORTATION BY SEA OF SUPPLIES FOR THE ARMED FORCES AND DEFENSE AGENCIES. Section 2631 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in the first sentence of subsection (a), by inserting “or for a Defense Agency” after “Marine Corps”; and (2) in subsection (b)— (A) by redesignating paragraphs (2) and (3) as paragraphs (3) and (4), respectively; (B) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following new paragraph (2): “(2) Before entering into a contract for the transportation by sea of fuel products under this section, the Secretary shall provide a minimum variance of three days on the shipment date.” ; and (C) in paragraph (4), as redesignated by subparagraph (A), by striking “the requirement described in paragraph (1)” and insert “a requirement under paragraph (1) or (2)”.
