SEC. 3055. STANDARD FOR MINIMUM CREDENTIALS FOR HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL INSPECTORS OF PRIVATIZED MILITARY HOUSING. (a) Development and Submission of Standard.—Not later than February 1, 2020, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report that contains a standard for minimum credentials to be used throughout the Department of Defense for all inspectors of health and environmental hazards at privatized military housing, including inspectors contracted by the Department. (b) Inclusion of Categories for Specific Environmental Hazards.—The standard submitted under subsection (a) shall include categories for specific environmental hazards such as lead, mold, and radon.
