SEC. 7349. BAR ON REENTRY OF ALIENS CONVICTED OF AGGRAVATED FELONIES. (a) In General.—Section 212(a)(17) (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(17)) is amended by inserting “(or within ten years in the case of an alien convicted of an aggravated felony)” after “within five years”. (b) Applicability.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to any alien convicted of an aggravated felony who seeks admission to the United States on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
