SEC. 3529. STUDY OF CYBERSECURITY AND NATIONAL SECURITY THREATS POSED BY FOREIGN MANUFACTURED CRANES AT UNITED STATES PORTS. (a) Study.—The Maritime Administrator, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary of Defense, and the Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, shall conduct a study to assess whether there are cybersecurity or national security threats posed by foreign manufactured cranes at United States ports. (b) Report.— (1) In general.—Not later than one year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Maritime Administrator shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate, the Committee on Armed Services of the Senate, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives, and the Committee on Armed Services of the House of Representatives a report containing the results of the study required under subsection (a). (2) Form of report.—The report required under paragraph (1) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
