DEFINITIONS.

SEC. 9002. [22 U.S.C. 2651 note] DEFINITIONS. In this division: (1) Administrator.—The term “Administrator” means the Administrator of USAID. (2) Appropriate congressional committees.—The term “appropriate congressional committees” means the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives. (3) Department.—Unless otherwise specified, the term “Department” means the Department of State. (4) Secretary.—Unless otherwise specified, the term “Secretary” means the Secretary of State. (5) USAID.—The term “USAID” means the United States Agency for International Development.
