CARBON CAPTURE DEMONSTRATION AND PILOT PROGRAMS.

SEC. 41004. CARBON CAPTURE DEMONSTRATION AND PILOT PROGRAMS. (a) Carbon Capture Large-scale Pilot Projects.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out activities under section 962(b)(2)(B) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 16292(b)(2)(B))— (1) $387,000,000 for fiscal year 2022; (2) $200,000,000 for fiscal year 2023; (3) $200,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; and (4) $150,000,000 for fiscal year 2025. (b) Carbon Capture Demonstration Projects Program.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out activities under section 962(b)(2)(C) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 16292(b)(2)(C))— (1) $937,000,000 for fiscal year 2022; (2) $500,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2023 and 2024; and (3) $600,000,000 for fiscal year 2025.
