SEC. 904. [10 U.S.C. 132a note] IMPLEMENTATION OF REPEAL OF CHIEF MANAGEMENT OFFICER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE. Section 901(b)(1) of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (Public Law 116-283) is amended by striking “, except that any officer or employee so designated may not be an individual who served as the Chief Management Officer before the date of the enactment of this Act”.
