EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ACCELERATION OF REMOVAL OR SECURITY OF FISSILE MATERIALS, RADIOLOGICAL MATERIALS, AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AT VULNERABLE SITES WORLDWIDE.

SEC. 3118. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR ACCELERATION OF REMOVAL OR SECURITY OF FISSILE MATERIALS, RADIOLOGICAL MATERIALS, AND RELATED EQUIPMENT AT VULNERABLE SITES WORLDWIDE. (a) In General.—Section 3132 of the Ronald W. Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005 (50 U.S.C. 2569) is— (1) transferred to title XLIII of the Atomic Energy Defense Act (50 U.S.C. 2565 et seq.); (2) redesignated as section 4306B; (3) inserted after section 4306A; and (4) amended, in subsection (f)(6), by striking “December 31, 2023” and inserting “December 31, 2028”. (b) Clerical Amendment.—The table of contents for the Atomic Energy Defense Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 4306A the following new item: “Sec. 4306B. Acceleration of removal or security of fissile materials, radiological materials, and related equipment at vulnerable sites worldwide.” .
