SEC. 703. TRICARE PROGRAM: WAIVER OF REFERRAL REQUIREMENT UNDER TRICARE PRIME FOR CERTAIN CARE IN A MILITARY MEDICAL TREATMENT FACILITY. Section 1095f(a)(2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by inserting “(A)” before “The Secretary”; and (2) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: “(B) The Secretary shall waive the referral requirement in paragraph (1) in the case of a member of the armed forces serving on active duty who seeks to obtain any of the following kinds of care in a military medical treatment facility: “(i) Physical therapy. “(ii) Nutritional. “(iii) Audiological. “(iv) Optometric. “(v) Podiatric.” .
