NOTIFICATION TO MEMBERS OF CONGRESS FOR AWARDS OF CONTRACTS FOR MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS.

SEC. 2874. NOTIFICATION TO MEMBERS OF CONGRESS FOR AWARDS OF CONTRACTS FOR MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. (a) Notification Required.—Not later than 30 days after the date of award of a contract for a military construction project, the Secretary of the military department with jurisdiction over such project shall notify the following Members of Congress: (1) Any Member representing the State in which such contract will be performed. (2) Any Member representing the State in which the contractor awarded such contract is a constituent of such Member. (b) Elements.—A notification under subsection (a) shall include the following: (1) The proposed value of the contract. (2) The contractor awarded the contract. (3) A brief description of the project that is the subject of the contract, including the location in which the contract will be performed.
