SEC. 6703. CLARIFICATION OF AUTHORITY OF CERTAIN INSPECTORS GENERAL TO RECEIVE PROTECTED DISCLOSURES. Section 1104 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3234) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)(1), by inserting “or covered intelligence community element” after “the appropriate inspector general of the employing agency”; and (2) in subsection (c)(1)(A), by inserting “or covered intelligence community element” after “the appropriate inspector general of the employing or contracting agency”.
